One of the biggest unsolved problems of cosmology is to find a model for dark energy. People developed already many classical modifications of gravity, but it looks like that the correct explanation would be in the full quantum gravity. This is my presentation from a seminar in the department of mathematics at the Czech Technical University (Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering).
